Tutoring for 11+ and 13+ Entrance Exams

Passing the 11+ exam is an extremely important step for any pupil who wishes to attend a selective school. Tuition for 11+ is offered in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Reasoning.

Over the past years, I have built up a large amount of resources with hundreds of  11 +  and 13+ entrance exam papers and SATs papers. I subscribe to many educational websites - including White Rose Maths and HeadStart assessments.

Offered as part of lessons. These promote good exam strategies and help pupils to stay calm and attain great results.

Overview of syllabus taught for 11+ Entrance Exams

Maths: Number, Fractions, Percentages, Measurement, Data Handling, Shape and Space.

English: Punctuation, Spelling, Grammar, Writing using different Genres, Reading Comprehension.

Reasoning: Reasoning, Verbal Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Awareness 2D-3D.

Fiona has extensive knowledge of schools both private and State schools and can give advice to parents both in a teacher capacity and as a parent herself with two children who have attended local schools.

Fiona has a large number of resources and subscribes to various educational websites including White  Rose maths and Classroom Secrets. She is a member of the Association of Tutors. Fiona keeps abreast of educational developments, is fully engaged with all educational developments, and has more than a thousand 11+ entrance exams for most U.K. schools and SATs papers.
